1. General Payment Terms
All professional fees and charges for legal services provided by Daw Nang Moe Thu Zar Kyaw shall be determined based on the nature, complexity, scope, and requirements of each legal matter.
The applicable fees will be communicated to the Client through a quotation, proposal, engagement letter, or written confirmation before commencement of services.
2. Advance Payment Requirement
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, legal services shall commence only after receipt of the required advance payment.
Advance payment may be required to cover:
- Consultation fees;
- Professional service fees;
- Document preparation fees;
- Retainer fees;
- Other agreed charges.
3. Consultation Fee Payment
Consultation appointments are confirmed only after payment of the applicable consultation fee.
Consultation fees are charged based on:
- Duration of consultation;
- Complexity of the legal matter;
- Level of preparation required.

4. Professional Service Fees
Professional fees for legal services may be structured as:

5. Additional Expenses and Third-Party Costs
Unless otherwise stated, professional fees do not include external expenses such as:

- Stamp duties;
- Notarial fees;
- Translation fees;
- Courier charges;
- Travel expenses;
- Other third-party costs.
Such expenses shall be paid separately by the Client.
6. Invoices and Receipts
Official invoices and receipts will be issued upon receipt of payment in accordance with applicable accounting and professional requirements.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that payment information provided is accurate.
7. Late Payment
Where payment is overdue, the Lawyer reserves the right to:
- Suspend ongoing services;
- Delay delivery of work products;
- Decline further services until outstanding payments are settled.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Professional fees paid for services that have already commenced are generally non-refundable.
For cancellations before commencement of services, refund eligibility will be considered based on:
- Work already performed;
- Administrative costs incurred;
- Applicable circumstances.
Any refund shall be subject to the Lawyer’s review and applicable agreements.
9. Payment Methods
Payments may be made through approved payment methods provided by the Lawyer.
Payment details will be provided through official communication channels.
10. Tax and Regulatory Obligations
Clients shall be responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or regulatory charges relating to payments unless otherwise agreed.
11. Changes to Payment Policy
This Payment Policy may be updated from time to time.
The latest version published on this website shall apply to future engagements.
